Hyatt Mosque and Centre is pleased to announce that Imam Jamal Taleb has accepted to be  a full time Imam At Hyatt Mosque. Imam Jamal Taleb was born in Tripoli, Lebanon. He served as an Imam in different religious Canadian educational institutions for almost 25 years. He is married and has three daughters and a son.

Imam Jamal Taleb academic specialty is in Islamic studies as well as Arabic literature.

In addition to the academic degrees known as Ijazah (Bachelor's degree in both fields, he holds a Master degree wit High Honors from University of Tripoli, Lebanon and a PhD in Islamic Law from the Islamic University of Beirut, Lebanon. His Doctorate in Islamic Studies was under the title of :" Family structures between Shariah and Canadian Laws; A comparative Study".

Welcome to Hyatt Centre and Mosque in London, Ontario.  We have acquired this beautiful Centre in 2015.  The Mosque is open for Friday Prayer at 1:30 PM in the Summer and 12:30 PM in the Winter, We have plans for a Sunday School in the new section of this Centre.

The old section built in 1907 has an antique beautiful sanctuary that will be preserved as is, to be used for lectures, seminars and gatherings.

The property will be restored to its old glory after being neglected for many years. The exteriors will be restored with no alterations.

The Centre will also help the poor and the needy in the EOA community.
